On Thursday 2.25.2016 we teamed up with the ladies at Spaceland, Ladies First, and Hlz Blz to present FLYGRLS. A concept event benefit dance party with a mission to support and celebrate female artists, brands, and organizations held at The Regent in downtown LA.
As a collective, we wanted to create a party with a purpose by offering a platform for female artists to network and get inspired, all while having a good time on the dance floor.
We also wanted to give back to the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Downtown Women's center, the only organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to addressing needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in Skid Row.
Chanel "COCO" Malvar hosted the event while DJ AMY PHAM, KRONIKA (Soulection), Noodles (Kehlani) and MS JCK DVY blessed the turntables with their upbeat dj sets that got everyone moving. GLAM GIRLS LA showcased a choreographed dance performance throughout the night. The energy was live and it was a night for everyone to remember. Big thanks to everyone who joined us!
