What inspired her to start:

Well actually, I wanted to be in an environment where it's all women; I like beautifying beautiful women, making them feel good about themselves. I've always been in an industry where theres lots of men and I don't like the pressure.

I worked for MAC for a long time, almost 6 years; I worked with Nordstrom over 10 years. I've managed, done skincare, and the one reason I created this line is because every day I meet professional women, doctors, teachers, moms, etc, who always complain about not finding the right lipstick to wear year round and not feel so pale. That's why I created that line. It's the kind of line you don't have to look in the mirror to put on, it's soft, its for everyone.

Her advice to you:

Never give up. Don't ever let anyone tell you stuff that puts you down. Follow your dreams and don't give up. My second thing would be to work hard, never give up and work hard. Seriously.
